GPS Marine’s Civil Engineering & Construction department has been busy undertaking works in connection with the Berth 9 Quay Extension in the Port of Felixstowe.
The crane barge GPS Boxer is on site crewed by GPS Marine staff and she is working on the installation of 160m of sheet piles as part of the quay extension project. The work is scheduled to continue for a further 4-5 weeks although there is a degree of weather risk in the job.
